Job summary

TÜV SÜD America Inc. is seeking an Account Executive, Medical Device Testing, to drive growth with medical device manufacturers, guiding them through testing, certification, and regulatory paths.

You will partner with experts to deliver customer-focused solutions and expand market access. You will travel up to 50%, engage across levels, and own territory plans while collaborating with engineers and project teams to close opportunities and ensure client success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, account management, technical sales, or related customer-facing roles.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage effectively at multiple organizational levels.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth within the medical device testing market by identifying opportunities and developing strategic customer relationships.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers throughout the sales lifecycle.
• Lead customer discovery discussions to understand technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers and technical experts to develop proposals, scopes of work, and customer-focused solutions.
• Negotiate contracts and close business opportunities in alignment with company objectives and profitability goals.
• Partner with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Represent TÜV SÜD at industry events, conferences, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market presence and develop new business relationships.

Your Tasks

As an Account Executive, Medical Device Testing, you will drive business growth by building relationships with medical device manufacturers and helping them navigate testing, certification, and regulatory compliance requirements. You will partner closely with technical experts and project teams to deliver customer-focused solutions that support innovation and market access.

Your Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and market access requirements.
• Experience managing strategic customer accounts and complex sales cycles.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $125,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.

The compensation package may also include commission earnings and an annual incentive opportunity, subject to eligibility and applicable plan terms.
