Qualifications

Job description

  • Exceed monthly revenue objectives with a focus on media and advertising clients.
  • Deliver a compelling buying experience for prospects, customers, and resellers.
  • Use Salesforce.com to manage leads, activities, and opportunities, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Represent AvidXchange professionally in all engagements.
  • Demonstrate AvidXchange solutions to create customer excitement and drive adoption.
  • Share best practices and maintain a collaborative, winning mindset.
  • Prioritize call time and appointments to generate leads and close sales.
  • Meet productivity and service level expectations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers (AP Manager, Controller, CFO, Procurement, IT).
  • Strong understanding of strategic priorities and business pain points in media and advertising.
  • Experience using a solution-selling approach to guide prospects through the decision-making process.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and effective at objection handling.
  • Skilled in presenting value propositions tailored to the media and advertising space.
  • Technically adept at demonstrating AvidXchange solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and pricing strategy skills.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to new technologies and change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, marketing, accounting, computer science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the media and advertising vertical.
  • Prior experience selling card solutions to e-commerce brands and performance marketing agencies.
  • Background in both inside and outside sales, ideally in financial services, software, or tech.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (AR/AP), credit/treasury, and wealth management.
  • Track record of selling to C-level executives in mid-market companies ($25M–$1B revenue).
  • Experience with automated AP solutions and competitive knowledge of the AP landscape.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools.
  • Consistent achievement of or exceeding sales quotas.
