Job summary

CCMR3 is seeking an Account Executive to manage a portfolio of consumer and commercial accounts within legal collections, including post-suit work. You will negotiate settlements, analyze accounts, and collaborate with attorneys to drive recovery while ensuring compliance with laws and client regulations.

The role emphasizes strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with travel required during onboarding and minimal ongoing travel thereafter.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of legal collections experience.
• Proven ability to negotiate settlements and payment arrangements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing a high-volume portfolio.
• Proficiency with collection systems and account management platforms.
• Travel requirement: early onboarding travel with ongoing minimal travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of consumer and commercial accounts through various stages of the legal lifecycle.
• Conduct outbound and inbound communications with borrowers regarding resolution opportunities.
• Negotiate settlements, payment arrangements, stipulations, and other recovery solutions.
• Analyze documents, payment history, legal status, and financial conditions to determine strategies.
• Collaborate with attorneys, compliance, and leadership to advance recovery efforts.
• Identify accounts suitable for legal escalation, judgments, probate, or bankruptcy review.
• Utilize skip-tracing tools and research to locate consumers and assets.
• Document all activity and maintain detailed records in company systems.
• Meet or exceed recovery dollars, liquidation, productivity, and quality targets.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and client regulatory requirements.
