The Talent Search Group at Partner in Publishing is seeking a Sales Account Executive, K-12, on behalf of our client, a fast-growing start-up offering next-generation EdTech to help change the way schools communicate.

An ideal Account Executive candidate enjoys making connections with customers. They understand that listening and asking the right questions are essential to helping each potential customer. They have experience in sales and a proven success record in working and closing business.

Key Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years of sales experience, including success in setting and achieving sales goals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Tech-savvy, capable of learning the product and sales tools such as Hubspot, Slack, and Slite
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the role
  • Bonus Points: A background in education as a teacher, administrator, or staff member

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product demos daily with school administrators and teachers
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to refine the sales process and improve conversion rates
  • Communicate with customers via email, phone, website live chat, and video conferencing to drive sales, answer product questions, and onboard new customers
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers about the product and assist them in utilizing it effectively
  • Drive product sales through follow-ups after demos, issuing quotes, and cultivating strong customer relationships
  • Engage in outbound sales activities such as creative marketing, social media outreach, referrals, and cold emailing
