The Talent Search Group at Partner in Publishing is seeking a Sales Account Executive, K-12 on behalf of our client, a fast-growing start-up offering next-generation EdTech to enhance communication in schools.

An ideal candidate enjoys connecting with customers, listening actively, and asking insightful questions to understand their needs. They have experience in sales and a proven track record of closing deals.

Key Qualifications

  • 1.5+ years of sales experience, including success in achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships
  • Tech-savvy, capable of learning the product and sales tools such as Hubspot, Slack, and Slite
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about education technology
  • Bonus: Background in education as a teacher, administrator, or staff member

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product demos daily with school administrators and teachers
  • Collaborate with the VP of Sales to optimize the sales process and improve conversion rates
  • Engage with customers via email, phone, website live chat, and video conferencing to drive sales, answer questions, and onboard new clients
  • Serve as a product information resource and assist customers in utilizing the product effectively
  • Follow up after demos, provide quotes, and nurture customer relationships to drive sales
  • Engage in outbound sales activities through creative marketing, social media, referrals, and cold outreach
