Job summary

Qualifications

  • Proven sales track record required.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Present CorVel’s services to prospective customers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CorVel's services and the disability compensation system.
  • Attend a minimum of ten monthly sales calls and a monthly sales strategy meeting with the manager.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals established by management for the marketplace/branch office.
  • Explore all lines of coverage and needs within existing and new accounts.
  • Document a minimum of 25 opportunities in sf.com.
  • Make 50 prospect calls per week and conduct 3-5 prospect meetings per week, documenting all in sf.com.
  • Maintain daily entry of all sales activity in sf.com.
  • Submit commission spreadsheets by the 20th of each month.
  • Respond to RFPs independently for smaller local RFPs or with assistance from the RFP Department.
  • Represent the company at conferences as approved by management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

The Account Executive is responsible for interacting with customers and prospects at an executive level, acting as an extension of the client to sell new services, communicate expectations across teams, and increase market share by providing stellar customer service. This is a hybrid role: full‑time on‑site training followed by hybrid work. The primary territory is New England, with secondary coverage of New York and New Jersey.

Education & Experience

Pay Range

CorVel uses a market‑based approach to pay. Pay rates may vary by location and are adjusted during the offer process. Current pay range for this role: $52,999 – $85,473.
