Responsibilities

The Hospice Account Executive is responsible for executing sales strategies to increase market share through account development and educating the medical community about our services, all within a set budget.

  • Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to grow our care reach (growth strategy).
  • Implement, manage, and document sales activities with multiple contacts per referral source.
  • Understand customer needs to offer tailored solutions and secure referrals.
  • Expand awareness of our services within the healthcare community.
  • Serve as a liaison between referral sources, patients/families facing end-of-life care, and our agencies.
Education and Experience

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Two to three years of successful hospice sales experience preferred.

Skill Requirements

  • Effective interaction with diverse individuals.
  • Creativity in marketing and community education ideas.
  • Persuasive communication with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and ability to drive.
  • Understanding of home health/hospice coverage issues.
  • Ability to use resources cost-effectively.
