Edelman has an opportunity for an Account Executive to join our talented and award-winning Health Digital team in DC or New York. The Health Digital team is a fast-paced, hybrid team of practitioners spanning everything from digital and social strategy to execution.

The successful candidate will be a passionate digital strategist with hands-on digital marketing and communications experience. You are part strategist, part practitioner (a “do-er”). You can provide insightful strategic recommendations to our clients based on your knowledge of what it takes to execute at the highest level in health communications.


Responsibilities
  • Support the team in creating digital communications plans and goals; manage against them
  • Support the daily client contact and client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively
  • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content such asorganic, paid, website and other digital content inclusive of creative and visual ideas
  • Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, influencer marketing, analytics etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needs
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital/social marketingincluding participating in the development of plans and working with creative and paid media specialists to execute and optimize campaigns
  • Partner with analytics team to develop results reports and learning agenda for social content
  • Collaborate with account teammates on the submission of materials to through the client’s medical, legal, and regulatory review process, adhering to deadlines
  • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of skills; set and pursue stretch goals
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in digital marketing/communicationsand/or related fields including media, advertising, publishing, public relations
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills including copywriting, editing, and presentation experience
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing/communications tools, social media strategy, the latest trends and changes in digital
  • Previous work with healthcare and/or pharmaceutical companies
  • Experience distilling complex scientific or medical language into simple communications

$50,000 - $70,000 a year

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
