About The Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Motive, you will develop and close business with our largest prospects. You will sell into impactful companies across North America that power the physical economy. Our strong product positioning allows us to heavily invest across all Go-To-Market teams within our Enterprise segment. You will lead efforts to sell the value of our products and the business outcomes achievable through partnership with Motive.

Our Enterprise Account Executives sell across industries including trucking, oil & gas, construction, agriculture, manufacturing, consumer transit, and other fleet-reliant businesses. You should be receptive to feedback, eager to learn, possess a strong technical aptitude, and have high attention to detail. A team-oriented, high-energy approach is essential in our fast-paced environment.

Open Territory: Candidate in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, or Louisiana.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and secure new enterprise business by developing relationships with key executives, expanding account share, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Leverage executive relationships to ensure RFP wins and grow contractual business.
  • Collaborate with your team and utilize analytics and resources to optimize decision-making.
  • Identify and resolve problems, thinking critically to determine the best solutions.
  • Work with technical teams to demonstrate integrations and the value of our partner ecosystem.
  • Plan effectively to meet and exceed sales goals and quotas.
  • Deepen understanding of our technology and market trends to inform business strategies.

About You

  • Deep enterprise sales experience with F1000 clients.
  • At least 4+ years in SaaS or relevant enterprise field sales.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quotas and growing sales rapidly.
  • Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
  • Independent worker with a data-driven approach to sales planning.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey value propositions and handle objections.

Role

The target earnings (base + commissions) vary by location:

  • Bay Area, California: $230,000—$300,000 USD
  • Other U.S. locations: $230,000—$300,000 USD
