The Role We Need:

PadSplit is hiring an Account Executive to expand our marketplace by engaging traditional property owners to become PadSplit Hosts. This role helps homeowners unlock additional income by listing properties, addressing housing affordability by creating more shared housing opportunities in the Denver, CO market.

The Person We're Looking For:

We seek a driven, personable Account Executive with sales or real estate experience, skilled at building relationships with property owners and investors. The role involves delivering tailored value pitches on how PadSplit’s model and technology drive higher rental income compared to traditional rentals. The ideal candidate is comfortable working remotely, communicates effectively, and wants to impact the affordable housing crisis — one room at a time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and Qualify Leads: Identify potential property owners interested in becoming PadSplit Hosts and assess their suitability.
  • Conduct Outreach: Use cold calling, emailing, and networking to connect with property owners.
  • Host Discovery Calls and Meetings: Engage owners to understand their needs and barriers.
  • Deliver Value: Explain benefits like increased revenue, simplified management, and societal impact.
  • Build Relationships: Develop trust with property owners, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Customize Solutions: Offer tailored hosting options based on property owner circumstances.
  • Close Deals: Guide owners through decision-making, negotiate, and finalize onboarding.
  • Coordinate with Onboarding Teams: Ensure smooth onboarding with accurate property details.
  • Track Metrics: Maintain records in CRM systems, monitor outreach and conversion rates.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with market trends and legislative changes.
  • Educate Owners: Organize webinars or sessions to promote PadSplit benefits.

The Interview Process:
  • Application review by the Hiring Manager.
  • Phone interview (~30 mins) with PeopleOps if eligible.
  • Video interview (~45 mins) with a Sales Manager if warranted.
  • Panel interview (~1.5 hrs) with key stakeholders, including a case study presentation.
  • Final video interview (~30 mins) with Head of Sales if warranted.
  • Offer if all steps are successful.
