Job summary

Pacer Mission Critical in Austin, TX is seeking an Account Executive to grow our construction, data center, and mission-critical staffing business across Austin and Central Texas. This field-based role builds relationships with general contractors, project leaders, and operations teams while partnering with recruiting to deliver skilled trades professionals.

A proven sales background in staffing is preferred, with local travel and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of business development, account management, or outside sales experience.
• Experience in construction staffing, skilled trades, industrial staffing, labor services, or a related B2B service.
• Proven ability to generate new business and manage a sales territory.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable visiting jobsites and meeting with both executive and field-level stakeholders.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business throughout Austin and Central Texas.
• Build relationships with contractors, project managers, superintendents, developers, and facility leaders.
• Generate leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, industry events, and jobsite visits.
• Identify project timelines, workforce needs, skill requirements, and labor challenges.
• Present contract staffing, project staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire solutions.
• Negotiate pricing, bill rates, markups, and service agreements.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM activity.
• Partner with recruiting and operations to support delivery, onboarding, retention, and client satisfaction.
• Expand existing accounts into additional projects, locations, and service lines.
