Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Professional Liability insurance experience.
  • Experience in Employment Practices Liability and Cyber insurance is a plus.

Account Executive and Broker II, PSP-- New York (hybrid)

Role Overview

Provide detailed support to Senior Vice-President/Practice Leaders on complex Professional Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Management Liability, Technology Errors & Omissions, and Cyber insurance placements. Ensure client needs are promptly satisfied, deadlines are met, and quality standards are maintained. Handle projects independently and creatively, grasping topics involving our specialty consulting niche. Act on behalf of the SVP in their absence. Collaboration skills are vital. Knowledge of broking Professional Liability insurance is important.

Daily Responsibilities

  1. Service consulting firm clients daily.
  2. Manage renewal cycles for Professional Liability insurance programs, coordinating all steps timely, including preparing renewal letters, reviews, market submissions, and ensuring coverage is bound before the effective date.
  3. Review applications and underwriting submissions prepared by AVP.
  4. Develop renewal strategy documents and participate in renewal discussions.
  5. Prepare and verify market quotes, binders, and policy documentation.
  6. Maintain client, marketing, and claims files promptly.
  7. Check premium and tax computations; prepare client invoices.
  8. Review and prepare policy wording comparisons, letters, and reports under SVP guidance.
  9. Promptly acknowledge communications from clients, insurers, and offices.
  10. Coordinate with other Aon offices for smooth client and marketing activities.
  11. Broking to markets, including marketing and renewal terms development, understanding Professional Liability coverage terms.
  12. Place complex Professional Liability insurance towers with SVP's coordination.
  13. Review insurance summaries and client requirements, prepare responses collaboratively.
  14. Willing to travel as needed.
  15. Input data into CIS, GRIP, and other systems.
  16. Maintain daily diaries and outstanding lists.
  17. Assist in developing sales documents, presentations, and RFP responses.
  18. Participate in practice building and business development as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • NY State Brokers License or willingness to obtain it.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
