About the role

As an Account Executive, Ad Sales at Tastemade, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our advertising business—introducing our unique content, media, and commerce solutions to enterprise and mid-market advertisers, as well as large and midsize agencies. This role is ideal for a dynamic, goal-oriented seller who thrives in a high-velocity environment and is excited about building relationships with modern marketers looking to drive impact across social, streaming platforms, and commerce platforms.

You will manage a high-volume book of business, drive new customer acquisition, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to create effective, scalable programs. You’ll report to the Head of Sales & Partner Experience, working alongside our broader Sales & Partner Experience team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and grow a book of business across enterprise and mid-market advertisers spanning a variety of verticals
  • Lead end-to-end advertising conversations—prospecting, pitching, closing, and growing long-term client relationships
  • Build and close new business through heavy prospecting, proactive outreach, referrals, and presence at industry events and trade shows
  • Grow our streaming ads business by educating video buyers on Tastemade’s direct and programmatic direct offerings.
  • Educate clients and agencies on Tastemade’s full suite of offerings: branded content, social video, influencer marketing, programmatic and direct streaming media, and integrations across Wonder companies—Blue Apron, Wonder, and Grubhub.
  • Represent advertiser needs and feedback to help shape Tastemade’s ad product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—creative, production, marketing, insights, and Wonder brand partners—to deliver effective, scalable campaigns.
  • Forecast and manage a healthy pipeline; develop quarterly and annual plans to meet and exceed sales goals
The experience you have
  • 7+ years of experience in digital or streaming media or advertising sales, with a proven track record of closing and scaling new business
  • A passion for closing new business and excitement for the new and never-been-done
  • Strong familiarity with full-funnel media conversations, from streaming and social, to programmatic and performance marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills—comfortable engaging stakeholders across all levels
  • High-level of curiosity, self-motivation, and adaptability—you thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • A deep understanding of today’s media landscape and the evolving intersection of content, commerce, and culture
  • Bonus: Experience in the rapidly changing streaming media landscape and the intersection of streaming, social, and commerce solutions. Fluency in cross platform targeting, data and attribution solutions.
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000-$160,000

On-Target Earnings (Base + Commission): $260,000-$320,000
