Job summary

FIRST Insurance Funding, a subsidiary of Wintrust, is seeking an onsite quotes specialist in Islandia, NY. You will provide outstanding customer service while preparing loan agreements for a portfolio of agents and work to maximize profits while minimizing risk.

The role involves quoting, approving large quotes, handling calls and emails, and actively monitoring volume to protect and grow business. A HS diploma and up to 3 years in insurance are required.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of insurance experience or related industry.
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with clients.
• Attention to detail and excellent follow through.
• General computer skills.
• Onsite position in Islandia, NY.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for assigned agents within a region.
• Approve quotes up to a maximum amount financed of $750,000.
• Handle inbound phone calls from agents and provide outstanding customer service.
• Respond to and manage emails in a timely fashion with quality service.
• Monitor volume for assigned agents and take proactive steps to protect and grow it.

Job Description Summary

What You’ll Do

• Prepare quotes as needed for assigned agents within a given region(s)
• Approve quotes up to a maximum amount financed of $750,000.
• Accept inbound phone calls from agents and provide outstanding customer service.
• Respond and handle all emails in a timely fashion while providing outstanding customer service.
• Monitor volume for assigned agents within the portfolio. Take proactive measures to both protect and grow volume as appropriate.

Compensation

The estimated hourly rate for this role is $24.00 - $31.25 along with eligibility to earn a quarterly incentive. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
