Job summary

CBTS is seeking an Account Executive in Wisconsin to lead revenue growth across strategic and enterprise accounts, managing the full sales lifecycle and building CXO-level relationships for multi-stakeholder deals.

You will employ consultative selling, accurate forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to drive deals to closure while mentoring a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications

  • 12–15 years total experience with 10+ years in enterprise sales.
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Deep expertise in consultative sales methodologies and CXO-level relationship management.
  • Strong CRM proficiency, preferably Salesforce, with accurate forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth across strategic and enterprise accounts by managing the complete sales lifecycle and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Build strong CXO-level relationships and lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals by positioning solutions to support customers' long-term business goals.
  • Identify revenue expansion opportunities across new and existing accounts, collaborating on pipeline generation and leveraging market and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless deal execution, smooth sales-to-delivery transitions, and continued executive-level engagement post-sale.
  • Maintain accurate CRM-driven pipeline forecasts and provide leadership with clear insights on deal progress, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Coach and develop sales talent to build a high-performing team while contributing to best practices, sales process improvements, and go-to-market initiatives.

Role Overview

The Account Executive is a strategic sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth through key accounts. This role requires deep expertise in consultative selling, deal management, and client relationship building. The Account Executive plays a critical role in shaping go-to-market strategies, mentoring sales talent, and expanding CBTS's footprint in existing and new markets.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate degree in Engineering, Business Management, or Marketing; MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 12–15 years of total experience, with 10+ years in a relevant enterprise sales role
  • Proven track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Deep expertise in consultative sales methodologies and CXO-level relationship management
  • Strong CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred) with the ability to maintain accurate forecasts
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor sales professionals
Who You'll Work With

Internally, you'll collaborate with Executive Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Solution Sales, Finance, and Delivery teams to drive strategy alignment and execution. Externally, you'll engage with enterprise customers, partners, prospective clients, and current clients to uncover and develop growth opportunities.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - 135,000 and reflects CBTS's good‑faith estimate, at the time of posting, of the salary the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. The applicable base pay offered to a successful candidate will be determined within this range, based on the candidate's designated primary work location and factors including role scope and responsibilities, required qualifications, and the individual's experience, education, skills, and knowledge. This role may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as discretionary bonuses or sales‑based variable compensation, in accordance with applicable plans and eligibility requirements.
