Your Impact

Your new role is part of Yappy’s Sales team and reports to our VP of Sales, North America. The role is currently fully remote with a preference for applicants based in San Francisco, Salt Lake City or Austin.

You’ll impact Yappy’s mission by:

  • Managing the full sales-cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Generating self-sourced pipeline and maintaining consistent prospecting activities with a very strong emphasis on cold calling (we know the phone isn’t for everyone, however it’s a critical part of this role).
  • Territory planning and target account prospecting.
  • Executing an enterprise selling motion within an established framework.
  • Performing discovery to surface customer pain points and developing compelling value propositions.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert within our target industries (Energy, Mining, Heavy Civil, Industrial Construction), leveraging deep understanding of customer challenges to position Yappy as the platform of choice.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a hungry outbound Account Executive ready to sell something game-changing and you bring with you:

  • A proven track record in a full-cycle sales role.
  • Very strong experience in outbound prospecting/cold-calling.
  • Exceptional executive presence – comfortable with C-level executives.
  • Experience selling into heavy industry (Energy, Mining, Heavy Civil, Industrial Construction) will be highly regarded.
  • Previous start up experience is also highly regarded.
  • The ability to collaborate remotely and often async across the US and with our Perth-based team. You’ll need to jump on the occasional out of hours meeting in order to get some face time with your Aussie colleagues (and they’ll do the same for you!).
