Job description

As an Account Executive supporting the Away From Home Team, you will manage customer relationships and deliver incremental sales and profit within multiple foodservice segments including K-12, College / University, Healthcare, Business & Industry, & Commercial accounts. This is a remote position and can be based in the greater Seattle, WA & Portland, OR area.

This position provides participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.

A Taste of What You Will Be Doing
  1. Development and Execution of Business Plan: Oversee and create new business opportunities to enhance the Kellanova profile within the food service industry, focusing on data-driven strategies like void closures, white space opportunities, optimizing assortment, and upselling.
  2. Leading Sales Efforts: Strive to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations, fostering loyalty, increasing satisfaction, and driving growth.
  3. Conduct Business Reviews and Provide Business Solutions: Conduct reviews with top operators and distributors, providing solutions based on category management, consumer insights, industry trends, demographic data, and customer analysis.
  4. Customer Relationship Management: Use CRM to maintain accurate customer information, record sales and calls, and generate KPI reports to measure performance and identify trends.
  5. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals and improve overall sales performance.
We’re Looking for Someone With
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred experience in Food Service sales and account management
  • Ability to develop, present, and execute customer plans with a focus on communication and account penetration
  • Understanding of market dynamics, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Data analysis skills (e.g., Nielsen / IRI)
  • Strong trade strategy, retail operation, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel overnight, with travel varying based on residency location
Compensation

The annual salary range is $83,200-$109,200, based on location, experience, and skills. Discretionary bonuses are also available based on performance.
