Job description

OUR STORY

At STMicroelectronics, we believe in the power of technology to drive innovation and make a positive impact on people, businesses, and society. As a global semiconductor company, our advanced technologies and chips form the hidden foundation of the world we live in today.

When you join ST, you will be part of a global business with more than 122 nationalities, present in 40 countries, and comprising over 49,000 diverse and dedicated creators and makers of technology around the world.

Developing technologies takes more than talent: it takes amazing people who understand collaboration and respect. People with passion and the desire to disrupt the status quo, drive innovation, and unlock their own potential.

Embark on a journey with us, where you can innovate for a future that we want to make smarter and greener, in a responsible and sustainable way. Our technology starts with you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and growth plans for assigned strategic accounts.

  • Own the total customer relationship, including revenue growth, opportunity development, forecasting, pricing, negotiations, supply and operational topics, and long-term strategic engagement.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the customer organization, from engineering and procurement to senior and executive leadership.

  • Maintain a strong customer presence through frequent customer visits, executive engagements, technical reviews, and business discussions.

  • Identify, develop, and drive new opportunities from initial engagement through design-in, design-win, and revenue execution.

  • Lead and coordinate complex customer projects internally and externally, ensuring alignment between customer and ST.

  • Provide accurate and timely demand forecasting, with strong ownership of forecast quality and visibility into customer demand, risks, and opportunities.

  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations.

  • Partner closely with ST product groups, marketing, applications, business operations, and other internal stakeholders to develop and execute account plans.

  • Develop relationships that position ST as a strategic technology partner, identifying opportunities to expand ST's footprint across the customer's applications and platforms.

  • Maintain disciplined account and opportunity management through Salesforce CRM, ensuring opportunities, customer activities, forecasts, and key account information are accurate and current.

  • Communicate account strategy, business outlook, opportunities, risks, and required actions effectively.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline; BSEE strongly preferred.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor sales, technical sales, field applications, business development, or strategic account management.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex, strategic customer accounts.

  • Strong understanding of the Personal Electronics and/or Industrial markets and related semiconductor applications.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior and executive leadership.

  • Strong forecasting and sales planning discipline, with the ability to translate customer demand and market dynamics into actionable business forecasts.

  • Ability to take full ownership of an account, proactively identifying issues, opportunities, risks, and actions rather than relying on transactional customer management.

  • Strong project leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive actions to closure.

  • Comfortable working in a highly technical environment and engaging effectively with customer engineering organizations and ST technical teams.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform for opportunity, pipeline, and account management.

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to customer locations.
