• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales
• Demonstrated success owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through close and customer onboarding.
• Experience selling complex technology solutions, such as infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data center, SaaS or managed services.
• Experience collaborating with technical pre-sales / solution architects to cope and position solutions.

We are seeking an Account Executive to drive profitable growth through identification of new business opportunities, while maintaining and strengthening current relationships. The Account Executive will ascertain technical requirements, budget, decision process, impending business events, timeline and business priority for client projects. The Account Executive will build and retain sales product knowledge of core Evolving Solutions offerings and become an expert on discovering, qualifying, and position solutions to clients. The Account Executive will leverage manufacturer, vendor and partner resources to win business.

Outcomes and desired results

• Team with sales specialists, pre-sales architects, sales support and operations personnel.
• Own new client on-boarding.
• Negotiate final sales price, terms and conditions with clients.
• Become an expert on discovering, qualifying, and positioning core solution offerings from Evolving Solutions to our clients.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales
• Demonstrated success owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through close and customer onboarding.
• Experience selling complex technology solutions, such as infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, data center, SaaS or managed services.
• Experience collaborating with technical pre-sales / solution architects to cope and position solutions.

Preferred

• Prior experience in a technology VAR or channel partner ecosystem, including working with OEMs and distributor partners.
• Existing relationships with vendor/channel partners (e.g. Cisco, IBM, storage or cloud providers).
• Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise clients, including VP and C-level stakeholders.
• Background managing both net-new logos and expansion within existing accounts.
