Job description

DSI, one of the nation’s largest home services distributors, has an immediate need for a self-motivated individual to fill an Account Executive position in our Southeast Florida territory.

As the Account Executive, you will be responsible for signing up and managing new and existing authorized retailers. You will examine and understand the dealer’s business needs, and grow the territory through existing accounts and new dealer acquisitions. DSI represents brands such as AT&T, DIRECTV, Vivint SmartHome, Frontier Communications, CenturyLink, Windstream, Ziply Fiber, HughesNet, and more through our dealer base.

  • This role requires travel 3 – 4 days a week within your assigned territory.
  • Qualified candidates must live in or near Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Prospect businesses to offer our services to their customers.
  2. Travel 3-4 days per week within the assigned territory to prospect for new dealers, meet with key accounts, and attend meetings.
  3. Build a pipeline of new dealer prospects and onboard at least 3 – 4 new active dealers per month per product.
  4. Represent DSI to our dealer base and build relationships with vendor partners.
  5. Advise dealers on key metrics, marketing, and growth strategies.
  6. Network with local business groups and established contacts.
  7. Set and measure weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals.
  8. Exceed sales and dealer activation targets.
  9. Monitor progress weekly considering market conditions and dealer performance.
  10. Implement company directives through the dealer network.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Has a proven track record in prospecting, recruiting, and onboarding sales professionals.
  • Can identify business opportunities through leads, cold calls, and managing pipelines.
  • Is dynamic, motivated, and passionate about success.
  • Is organized, strategic, and goal-oriented with proven results.
  • Understands industry metrics and can translate them into action plans.
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
