Would you like to drive revenue and make an impact on the bottom line? Do you have experience selling software solutions to public sector agencies? Tyler Technologies is seeking an Account Executive to build relationships with prospective clients and expand our market share within an assigned territory.

The Account Executive is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales quotas for Tyler software products and services within a designated territory, as determined by the company. Tyler's Student Transportation is a software solution designed to meet the transportation needs of school districts and contractors nationwide.

Responsibilities
  1. Learn Tyler's products and services to effectively sell them.
  2. Identify and build relationships with targeted audiences to promote Tyler's products and services.
  3. Manage the sales cycle efficiently, responding and acting in a timely manner.
  4. Communicate effectively with internal staff and clients.
  5. Maintain professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
  6. Familiarity with the K-12 market space is a plus.
  7. Travel 50-75%, including travel to and from Canada.
  8. Develop comprehensive knowledge of Tyler's products and services.
  9. Build relationships with targeted audiences to generate sales.
  10. Manage long and complex sales cycles from lead generation to closing.
  11. Travel to customer locations, trade shows, and conduct on-site demonstrations.
  12. Assist in preparing RFP responses.
  13. Achieve pre-set annual sales quotas.
  14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Previous sales experience in the software industry is a plus.
  3. Experience with sales CRM systems is advantageous.
  4. Demonstrate a competitive drive and results-oriented approach.
  5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Excellent presentation skills; public speaking experience is a plus.
  7. Self-starter and team player.
  8. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  9. Proficiency with MS Office and general computer literacy.
  10. Valid driver's license required.

Salary Range

Salary typically ranges from $53,081 to $69,843, depending on geographic location. Recruiters can confirm if the position is incentive-eligible.
