Job summary

IT Solutions is a fast-growing MSP delivering high-end technology solutions to small and mid-market businesses. The Account Executive will grow new accounts across an assigned territory, reporting to the RVP, Sales, and representing IT Solutions to prospects to solve complex business needs.

Requirements include five+ years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on field and technology sales, and strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of B2B sales experience, preferably in field sales and technology sales.
• Strong prospecting and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Seek out and prospect new client accounts; generate sales opportunities.
• Maintain a key role in developing opportunities to drive growth.
• Prospect for new clients using HubSpot and other lead-gen tools.
• Conduct daily lead-gen activities including cold calls, emails, and networking.
• Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline; report activities weekly.
• Engage in company events related to sales and new business acquisition.
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations with support from the pre-sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Seek out and prospect NEW CLIENT accounts and generate sales opportunities
• Maintain a key role in developing opportunities to drive company growth through prospecting, networking, using social media, and referrals.
• Prospect for new clients leveraging HubSpot and other lead-generating tools.
• Conduct lead-generating activities daily such cold calling, emailing, and networking
• Assistin building andmaintainingan accuratesales pipeline to drive continuous immediate and long-term opportunities, by reporting sales activities weekly.
• Adopt professional sales techniques in the aim of targeting accurately and offering theappropriate servicesto potential clients
• Assistwith and attend company events as they relate to sales and new business acquisition
• Understand a prospects business need and develop tailored proposal proposals and presentation,leveragingthe pre-sales architecture team as needed.
• Reach the established targets of new account development
• Engage in other sales activities as assigned
• Develop andmaintaingood business relations with potential clients and Centers of Influence
• Fulfill tasks during the new client onboarding process to include ongoing internal trainings

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Effective time management and multi-tasking skills
• Maintains the ability to stay organized and be detail-oriented
• Demonstrates a passion for solving problems or helping others and take the initiative in driving continuous improvement/execution excellence
• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to self-manage and multi-task effectively and accurately in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Self-motivated and take a "hunting" style approach
• Team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
