RT Specialty, a division of Ryan Specialty, seeks an Account Executive in Fresno, CA to support brokers in managing a commercial casualty book. You will handle post-bind servicing, policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, renewals, and account maintenance with accuracy and initiative.

You will work closely with retail broker partners and internal teams, maintain client files, and generate reports to inform management decisions.

Qualifications

  • Active license in Property & Casualty.
  • 2+ years of commercial insurance experience in a brokerage or carrier environment.
  • Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts and renewals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of assigned accounts, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, and maintenance.
  • Prepare accounts for new business and renewal opportunities, including renewal solicitations for smaller accounts.
  • Review policy documents and invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as primary contact for service-related inquiries from retail brokers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate account information in internal systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Generate reports and provide updates to support effective management of the book.

Position Summary

The Account Executive supports the Broker in managing and servicing a commercial casualty book of business throughout the policy lifecycle. This role is responsible for handling post-bind servicing activities, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, renewals, and account maintenance, while delivering exceptional service to retail broker partners and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of independently managing assigned accounts in a fast-paced brokerage environment.

What will your job entail?
Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day servicing of assigned accounts, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, and account maintenance activities.
  • Support the Broker by preparing accounts for new business and renewal opportunities, including renewal solicitations for smaller accounts.
  • Review policy documents, endorsements, invoices, and other account documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for service-related inquiries from retail brokers and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate account information and documentation within internal systems while ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
  • Monitor bound accounts and proactively follow up on outstanding items to ensure policies are serviced efficiently and on time.
  • Partner with Premium Accounting and other internal departments to resolve invoicing discrepancies and assist with notices of cancellation as needed.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with brokers, retail partners, and internal stakeholders to support client retention and growth objectives.
  • Generate reports and provide account-related updates to support effective management of the assigned book of business.
  • Effectively manage a high volume of responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting service standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • 2+ years of commercial insurance experience within a brokerage, retail agency, wholesale brokerage, or carrier environment.
  • Experience servicing commercial insurance accounts, including policy issuance, endorsements, invoicing, audits, renewals, or account maintenance activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and independently maintain an assigned book of business.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and data management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems.
  • Ability to build productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting a commercial casualty book of business.
  • Experience working for a retail broker/agency and interacting directly with retail broker partners.
  • California casualty experience

The target salary range for this position is $69,200.00 - $86,500.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
