Job summary

Digital Factory, Inc. is seeking an Account Director to drive revenue nationwide in the United States. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—and manage enterprise and strategic accounts while building executive relationships.

This role requires a consultative seller who can articulate value, navigate complex buying processes, and deliver measurable outcomes through solutions across industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive enterprise sales, strategic account management, business development, or related commercial experience.
  • Proven success developing and expanding strategic or national accounts.
  • Experience selling to senior executives and navigating complex enterprise buying environments.
  • Strong record of achieving revenue targets and generating significant account expansion.
  • Ability to develop sophisticated account strategies, business cases, and executive-level sales presentations.
  • Experience selling technology, SaaS, data analytics, mobile technology, digital engagement, or related solutions.
  • Existing industry relationships or professional networks that can accelerate market access.
  • Ability to work independently and travel based on business and customer needs.

About the RoleThe Account Director is a results-driven sales professional responsible for generating new business, closing revenue, and growing enterprise and strategic accounts for Digital Factory across the United States. This is a full-cycle sales role with direct accountability for prospecting, developing opportunities, building client relationships, presenting solutions, negotiating, closing business, and expanding accounts. This individual will identify organizations that benefit from Digital Factory’s technology and solutions, establish relationships with key decision-makers, and convert those relationships into revenue. The role requires a consultative seller who can understand a client’s business challenges, articulate our capabilities, navigate complex buying environments, and confidently move opportunities from initial engagement through signed agreement. This is a commission- and equity-based opportunity, ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments and is motivated by directly contributing to revenue and enterprise growth.

What You’ll Do

Sales & New Business Development

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned industries, markets, and accounts.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through solution presentation, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned with established revenue targets.
  • Identify prospective customers through direct outreach, referrals, networking, industry events, strategic relationships, and market research.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and executive stakeholders within prospective accounts.
  • Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer challenges, business objectives, budgets, decision criteria, buying processes, and timelines.
  • Translate customer needs into compelling Digital Factory solutions and value propositions.
  • Develop proposals, presentations, opportunity briefs, and business cases that clearly communicate customer value and expected business outcomes.
  • Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, negotiations, and closing conversations.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up and proactively move opportunities through each stage of the sales process.
  • Meet or exceed established sales, revenue, pipeline, and activity goals.

Account Management & Revenue Growth

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Own client relationships and serve as the primary commercial point of contact.
  • Build strong relationships with senior executives, decision-makers, and key stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic account plans identifying customer priorities, stakeholders, renewal opportunities, expansion potential, and additional use cases.
  • Drive renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and account expansion.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce Digital Factory solutions across additional business units, locations, markets, events, and use cases.
  • Partner internally to ensure effective onboarding, adoption, service delivery, and ongoing customer value.
  • Monitor account health and proactively address risks that could affect retention, satisfaction, or revenue.
  • Maintain accurate account, opportunity, activity, and revenue information within the CRM.

Market & Industry Development

  • Develop new business nationally across industries where Digital Factory's solutions can create measurable value.
  • Identify and prioritize high-potential markets, verticals, enterprise accounts, channels, and commercial opportunities.
  • Build knowledge of customer challenges, industry trends, competitors, buying behavior, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Establish relationships with industry leaders, associations, partners, and other market influencers that can accelerate business development.
  • Represent Digital Factory at conferences, meetings, industry events, networking opportunities, and customer engagements.
  • Develop market intelligence that strengthens sales positioning and identifies new commercial opportunities.

Sales Strategy & Opportunity Management

  • Develop account and opportunity strategies designed to advance prospects toward close.
  • Assess opportunities based on revenue potential, customer fit, feasibility, access, timing, competition, risk, and resource requirements.
  • Develop relationship maps identifying decision makers, executive sponsors, influencers, procurement stakeholders, and other individuals critical to closing the sale.
  • Build clear business cases demonstrating the economic and strategic value of Digital Factory solutions.
  • Maintain defined next steps, decision dates, close plans, risks, and accountability for active opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and timely updates on pipeline movement, account activity, risks, and anticipated closes.
