Job summary

Western Union is seeking an Account Development Executive to drive growth in Fort Myers, FL, with a work-from-home arrangement and regular in-person visits to agents, customers, and surrounding areas. You will sign, train, and activate offerings, expand opportunities, and manage ongoing relationships to ensure network continuity.

• Conduct in-person visits to existing agents in Fort Myers and surrounding areas, traveling 4–5 days per week.
• Grow the business by signing, training, and activating new offerings with existing retail agents and managing business development opportunities.
• Manage existing network relationships, focusing on business and operational support to ensure continuity and growth of all network channels.
• Perform field sales to meet and exceed transaction and revenue growth objectives in your assigned area.
• Handle special projects such as sales blitzes and host Customer Appreciation Events at key high‑opportunity locations to drive volume.
• Build relationships with relevant grassroots and community organizations.
• Monitor competition status—network expansion, price changes, commission and incentive adjustments—and report information through appropriate channels.
• Provide weekly business reports including sales activity, competitive activity, and area highlights.
• Partner with Agents’ support areas (Collections, IT Support, Credit, etc.) to resolve issues that could limit agents’ operations.
• Analyze productivity reports and work within assigned expense budgets, filing required reports.
• Identify and expand business with new agents as needed.

In this role you will play an integral part in Western Union’s sales organization by visiting and servicing existing accounts, agents, and customers throughout Fort Myers and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of sales experience, preferably in the Money Transfer industry.

• Documented track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and maintaining strong business relationships.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with internal and external stakeholders.
• Consultative sales approach and solid sales skills.
• Self‑motivated, self‑assured, with a high degree of integrity and tenacity.
• Valid driver’s license required; regular travel within a defined territory required.
• Must live within the assigned territory, preferably near the largest market.

Location and Travel

Fort Myers, FL – Work from Home with 4–5 days of in‑person visits within the surrounding area.

Salary

The on‑target earnings range is $60,000–$72,000 USD per year plus commission, which includes a base salary and commission incentives aligned with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on qualifications, skills, and competencies.
