Absolute Merch Inc. runs the merchandise business for top artists and supports album campaigns, tours, store launches, and fan clubs.
You will join a tight team to ensure every campaign piece is executed on schedule and communicates clearly with managers, labels, and internal departments. You will manage day-to-day coordination across production, logistics, and accounting, ensuring accuracy in shipments and royalties while keeping all files organized in Monday.com and shared drives.
Absolute Merch runs the merchandise business for RÜFÜS DU SOL, John Summit, Dom Dolla, Suki Waterhouse, The Used, Beartooth, and dozens more artists across electronic, alternative, rock, and pop.
Merch is one of the main ways artists connect with their fans in the physical world, whether that's the shirt from the show or the vinyl bundle on release day. We work alongside artists, their managers, and their record labels to build the merch side of their album campaigns and tours, along with the strategy behind their online stores and fan clubs. When an album drops, our campaign is part of how fans experience it. We're growing fast, and we're hiring an Account Coordinator
Each of our artists is led by a Senior Account Manager who owns the relationship and builds the strategy: how the merch supports the album, the tour, the store, and the fan club. You're the person who makes that strategy happen. You'll see how artist campaigns come together from the inside, and you'll be the one making sure every piece of them shows up correctly and on time.
In practice, you're on email and calls with artist managers, their teams, and their labels constantly. You're the first person our production, warehouse, and accounting teams go to with questions about your artists. You should be able to tell anyone where any project on your accounts stands at any moment.
This job is busy, and you should know that going in. During tour season you might be advancing six venues, chasing a delayed shipment, and getting a fan club design approved by a manager, all in the same afternoon. Mistakes show up fast here, because a missed shipment means a show with no merch. Most days run on normal business hours, but when something goes wrong on a show day, you jump on it.
People who want a steady, predictable job usually don't enjoy this one. People who like being the one everybody counts on usually love it.
Your résumé matters less to us than how you work. Maybe you've kept a busy manager or executive organized. Maybe you've worked on the road and know what show day feels like. Maybe you're just starting out, and you're the one in your friend group who keeps everyone on track, and the first one with a plan when the Uber cancels and everyone else is standing on the curb. Any of those can be the right background. If you want a career in the music business, this is one of the best places to learn how artist campaigns actually get built.
You're the kind of person who:
By 90 days, you know every active project on your accounts. Your Senior Account Manager trusts you to run the day-to-day without checking your work, and the managers you deal with know your name.
By six months, you're catching problems before they happen. Venues, production, and accounting rarely have to come find you, because you got to them first.
