Job Description

Title: Personal Lines Account Associate

Remote Location: Florida Residents only | Based out of Longwood, FL | Experience: Quoting and Binding Personal Lines Policies

About the Role

This role plays a crucial part in managing client accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. Working closely with the account manager, responsibilities include processing endorsements, handling client inquiries, managing cancellations, addressing return mail, and responding to underwriter memos. A key focus is to collaborate with the account manager to nurture client and agency relationships, contributing to the team's success through outstanding service and relationship growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process endorsements and update management systems accurately.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Manage email and fax correspondence efficiently.
  • Handle policy changes such as cancellations and reinstatements.
  • Manage return mail and update address/policy details.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies and clients to meet underwriting requirements.
  • Prepare proofs of insurance accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to support servicing of client portfolios.
  • Maintain transparent communication with supervisors regarding obstacles and performance issues; seek and implement coaching.
  • Uphold IOA's core values, demonstrating integrity and leadership.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
  • Active licensing as required by the state.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • High accuracy in handling large volumes of work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
