Job Description

Title: Personal Lines Account Associate
Location: Remote (Florida Residents only, based out of Longwood, FL)
Experience: Quoting and Binding Personal Lines Policies

About the Role

This role involves managing client accounts and delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include processing endorsements, handling inquiries, managing cancellations, addressing return mail, and responding to underwriter memos. Collaboration with the account manager to foster client and agency relationships is essential for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process endorsements and update management systems accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
  • Manage email and fax correspondence efficiently.
  • Handle policy changes such as cancellations and reinstatements.
  • Manage return mail and update address/policy details.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance companies and clients.
  • Prepare proofs of insurance accurately and promptly.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to support servicing of books of business.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding performance and issues.
  • Demonstrate IOA's core values, integrity, and leadership.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent.
  • Active state licensing required.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and decision-making skills.
  • High accuracy in handling large volumes of work.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
