Job summary

American Global is hiring an Account Associate to join the Insurance team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on preparing and managing time-sensitive insurance documents, maintaining filing systems, and supporting Account Managers and Executives.

Ideal candidates will have strong time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, and top-notch communication skills, with proficiency in Applied Epic, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Pro.

Qualifications

• Experience handling insurance documents and filing accurately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize, organize workload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, file, update and manage time-sensitive insurance documents (certificates of insurance, endorsements, loss summaries, quotes, binding requests, renewal letters, mod analysis).
• Keep filing and databases up to date (Applied Epic).
• Assist in creating proposals, summaries of insurance, and presentations.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to ensure high-level service.
• Provide backup for other team members during absences.
• Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as required.
• Responsible for billing accurately and timely, audit processing.

About the Role

We are seeking a driven, energetic Account Associate to join our dynamic Insurance team in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Prepare, issue, file, update and manage time-sensitive insurance documents critical to the business, including but not limited to:certifications of insurance, endorsement requests, loss summaries, quotes, binding requests, renewal letters, mod analysis, and many more!
• Learn industry terminology and commercial insurance coverage basics
• Conduct research; compile information for Account Managers and Account Executives
• Participate in off-site carrier, client, and prospect meetings as required
• Keep insurance filing and database system up to date (Applied Epic)
• Assist in creating proposals, summary of insurance, and presentations
• Responsible for billing accurately and timely, audit processing
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients and industry partners to insure a high-level of customer service
• Provide backup for other team members during their absence
• Additional responsibilities as required
