Job summary

Hotchkiss Insurance is seeking a Benefit Account Associate to support the Benefits Account Team in delivering proactive service and managing client benefit programs. You will work closely with the Account Manager and Account Executives to ensure smooth operations and prioritize tasks.

The role requires 2+ years in group benefits, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, and active Texas Life & Health licensing or plans to acquire after hire. Hybrid work options and a strong benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Group Benefits on agency or carrier side.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active Texas Life & Health or acquiring once hired.
• Foundational understanding of Microsoft Office.
• Desire to learn and grow in employee benefits.

Responsibilities

• Gather client reporting and organize summaries for benefits clients on a set cadence.
• Support carrier implementations and renewals processing and census accuracy.
• Assist with client material creation.
• Process eligibility changes and set up invoicing.
• Handle local office and department administrative responsibilities.

Position Summary

The Benefit Account Associate plays a vital role in supporting the Benefits Account Team to provide proactive service and manage client benefit programs. This position involves working closely with the Account Manager and Account Executives to ensure smooth operations and prioritize tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Gatherclient reporting, reviewdata and organizeinto summaries for benefits clients on a predetermined cadence (monthly, quarterly or semi-annually). \
• Supportcarrier implementations and renewals processing, filling out applications, ensuring census accuracy, carrier connection file builds & providing training to clients when appropriate.
• Assistwith client material creation
• Process eligibility changes and set up client invoicing
• Handle local office and department administrative responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in Group Benefits working on the agency side or the carrier side, or comparable experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active Texas Life & Health or acquiring once hired
• A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
• Desire to learn and grow in the employee benefits field
• Effectively speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
