Job summary

Hotchkiss Insurance seeks a Benefit Account Associate to support the Benefits Account Team in proactive service and management of client benefit programs. You will work closely with the Account Manager and Account Executives to ensure smooth operations and priority tasks.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days in the Fort Worth office, plus competitive compensation and growth opportunities within a values-based culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in group benefits on either the agency or carrier side.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Active Texas Life & Health license or in process after hire.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills; comfortable with technology.
• Desire to learn and grow in employee benefits.
• Fluent English: speak, read, write.

Responsibilities

• Gather client reporting, review data and prepare summaries for benefits clients on a set cadence (monthly, quarterly, or semi-annually).
• Support carrier implementations and renewals: fill out applications, ensure Census accuracy, carrier connection file builds, and training for clients as appropriate.
• Assist with client material creation.
• Process eligibility changes and set up client invoicing.
• Handle local office and department administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in Group Benefits working on the agency side or the carrier side, or comparable experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Active Texas Life & Health or acquiring once hired
• A foundational understanding of Microsoft Office; comfortable with modern technology
• Desire to learn and grow in the employee benefits field
• Effectively speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
