Job summary

Davenport Community Schools in Davenport, IA is seeking staff for choral music duties including accompanying vocal groups, reading open score choral literature, and learning new music. Travel to performances may be required, with flexible hours beyond the regular school day.

• Job will require flexible work hours beyond the regular school day (after school, evenings, weekends).

• Successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
• Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.
• Must be willing to support and implement Davenport's multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) for both behavior and academics.

Wages

Physical Requirements of Position: (HBV Yes No)

• Ability to lift fifty pounds and walk extended distances. Ability to bend, squat and kneel in order to work with young children.


• Must be physically able to walk the building (stairs included) and general campus on a routine daily basis.
