Job summary

St. Christopher's School in Richmond, VA seeks an Accompanist for Lower and Middle School Choirs and Chapels. This part-time, 10-month, hourly position serves approximately 1,000 boys in JK-12 and reports to the Director of the Arts.

The successful candidate will play preludes, postludes, hymns and choral accompaniments on the piano, collaborate with faculty and staff, and support chapel services and choir rehearsals on a rotating 8-day schedule.

Responsibilities

• Accompany lower school chapel services on Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:05–8:45 am.
• Accompany 6th Grade Choir rehearsals on days 2, 5, 6, and 8 at 9:30–10:15 am.
• Accompany 6th Grade Choir for approximately 3–4 chapel services/concerts per year.
