Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Associates degree; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Receives calls and reports related to occurrences of roadway accidents, property damage, equipment damage, workers' compensation, hazardous materials, and citizen complaints.
• Maintains Risk Management databases, including contact information for claimants and vendors.
• Processes Risk Management correspondence to appropriate involved parties as needed.
• Escalates accident information to appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Administers accident processes including police contact, drug/alcohol screening, information intake, driver and equipment hold, engine control module download.
• Escalates non-standard and serious accidents to claims/legal, carries out instructions as directed.
• Researches, compiles, and tracks reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence.
• Processes accident related payments and logs financial information in occurrence records.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with others.
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Maintains regular and predictive attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
