Job summary

Anderson Powersports in Bullhead City, AZ is seeking a motivated Powersports Accessory Technician to install aftermarket accessories and upgrades on ATVs, motorcycles, and other powersports vehicles. The role prepares vehicles for customer delivery and helps customize machines to fit customer needs.

The ideal candidate has mechanical aptitude, hands-on tool experience, and a focus on quality workmanship. A valid driver’s license is required; background and drug screening will be conducted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket accessories and upgrades on powersports vehicles (ATVs, UTVs, motorcycles, watercraft).
• Follow installation instructions and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect installations for fit, function and appearance.
• Document completed installations and labor.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with parts and service teams to ensure availability of accessories.

Position Overview

The Powersports Accessory Technician is responsible for installing aftermarket accessories, upgrades, and equipment on a variety of powersports vehicles. This position plays an important role in preparing vehicles for customer delivery and helping customers customize their machines to fit their needs.

The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, has good mechanical skills, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install aftermarket accessories and upgrades on ATVs, UTVs, side‑by‑side, motorcycles, personal watercraft, and other powersports vehicles.
• Install accessories such as windshields, roofs, doors, bumpers, winches, lighting, sound systems, storage solutions, wheels, tires, and performance upgrades.
• Perform electrical accessory installations, including wiring, switches, lighting, and auxiliary power connections.
• Assemble and accessorize new vehicles prior to customer delivery.
• Follow installation instructions and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect completed installations to ensure proper fitment, function, and appearance.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Properly document completed installations and labor.
• Work closely with the parts and service departments to ensure accessories and components are available when needed.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience preferred.
• Experience with powersports, automotive, marine, or equipment accessories is a plus.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reliable, organized, and motivated.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Personal tools preferred.
• Pass a background and drug screening
