We are looking for an Accessories Sales and Installation Technician to join the team. Our accessories department: KD Tires, is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community. This is a hybrid position working in both our parts department and service department. While in the parts department, duties will include maintaining parts inventory, checking in freight, stocking shelves, assisting technicians with parts needs, and processing orders returns and parts warranties.
(ACCESSORIES INSTALL) Job duties include installing various car and truck accessories such as suspension lift kits, running boards, bumpers/winches, tire change over, exhaust systems, roof racks, Tonneau covers and custom wheels. This is not an entry level position. One-year experience as technician, accessory installer or graduate of technical school is required. You must have the ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles both automatic and manual transmissions. A valid driver license and good driving record are required.
(PARTSPERSON) Job duties will include selling parts to customers and vendors via phone, internet, and in person, maintaining inventory records, assisting customers with parts needs and obtaining parts information, creating invoices, processing orders, and returns. You will be working with customers; the ability to communicate effectively, make recommendations, and prioritize items in order of importance is required.

We are looking for candidates that have mechanical ability, take pride in the quality of work they produce, are detail oriented, can follow specific directions relating to installation, have good diagnostic skills, are honest, and enthusiastic about work. A valid driver license and good driving record are required. Work is performed indoors in a shop environment; tool usage includes mechanic's hand and power tools that produce significant vibration and force. Standing and walking will be required for the entire work shift in order to complete job duties. Pushing, pulling, crouching, squatting, reaching, and kneeling will be required frequently to access all parts of vehicles being worked on. Lifting, as well as pushing and pulling weights and forces from 20 to 100 pounds, is occasionally required. You may spend most of your work shift working with PCs and video display screens and using the telephone frequently.
