CellNetix Pathology & Laboratories in Tukwila, WA is seeking a Lab Assistant I to support pathologists and technologists. You will verify specimen details, process specimens, enter data, and help maintain workflow in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, prefers biology/chemistry/anatomy background, and demonstrates strong communication and multitasking abilities. Training aligns with HIPAA and PPE standards and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree with emphasis in biology/chemistry/anatomy preferred.
• Prior clinical medical setting or laboratory experience preferred.
• Basic computer program & application skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Verify specimen type and demographics.
• Forward/Return specimens to various departments & locations.
• Resolve issues with specimen submissions.
• Intake/Receive specimens delivered by couriers.
• Accession all case types data entry.
• Cross-reference information from numerous computer programs.
• Maintain & print from cassette printer.
• Other duties as assigned.
