Job summary

Pathnostics in Irvine, CA seeks an Accessioner/QC (Clinical Data Entry) for a part-time role. You will verify samples, log and label patient specimens, and enter data with high accuracy using LIMS and MS Office. Training occurs Tue-Sat 8:00 am–12:00 pm and starts at $18+/hour DOE.

Prior data entry experience is preferred; healthcare background is not required. The role offers sick PTO, a 401(k), an Employee Assistance Program, and a referral bonus program to support a healthy, productive lab

Accessioning is the process of receiving, logging, and labeling patient specimens when they arrive at our laboratory to ensure each sample is properly identified and tracked before testing begins. This is a critical first step that, when performed correctly, allows for seamless processing through sample preparation, analysis, and reporting phases. An ideal candidate for this role will have strong attention to detail, the ability to adhere to standard operating procedures, and a desire to deliver high-quality patient care. Although prior experience in a healthcare environment is not required, previous data entry experience is strongly preferred, as this is an essential component of the job.

*Training Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm (to be discussed during the interview)

Candidates Must Have:

Physical Demands: This position will require extensive use of a computer (mousing, keyboarding) and may involve sitting for extended periods of time.
