Job summary

GCubed Enterprises Inc. is seeking a senior accessibility lead to interpret federal accessibility standards and translate them into actionable guidance for design and development teams.

You will develop design patterns, developer checklists, and UX guidelines for enterprise use. The role includes early-stage consultations for new digital services, and conducting technical reviews of designs, prototypes, and content to ensure compliance with Revised Section 508 and WCAG 2.0 AA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ICT accessibility testing experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Deep understanding of Revised Section 508 Standards and WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
• Proficiency with manual testing procedures including keyboard-only navigation and code review.
• Expertise in evaluating and creating Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs).
• Ability to document and interpret test results, and advise on remediation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical staff.

Job description

Serves as the DOJ’s principal technical authority on accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.x, Revised 508 Standards, and related ICT guidelines. Advises designers, developers, communications teams, and product owners to ensure accessible solutions from concept to deployment. Supports DOJ efforts to ensure that information and communication technology products and services that are procured, maintained, or used are accessible to employees and members of the public with disabilities.
