Job summary

Elsevier is seeking a Sr. Accessibility Product Manager to lead the accessibility program across a broad portfolio of Clinical Solutions products.

You will set strategy, oversee execution, and guide teams to embed accessibility into product development practices with enterprise impact. This role requires 6+ years in product management with WCAG/508/Title III expertise, VPATs/ACRs experience, and ability to influence across multiple functions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with at least 2 years owning an accessibility program.
• Deep knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, and ADA Title III for web and mobile.
• Experience producing VPATs / Accessibility Conformance Reports in an enterprise context.
• Ability to influence across teams without direct authority.
• Technical fluency for conversations with engineers on ARIA and HTML semantics.

Responsibilities

• Own the Accessibility Program and VPATs/ACRs across active products; ensure accuracy for procurement.
• Partner with Legal on ADA Title III obligations and contractual commitments.
• Drive portfolio-level remediation roadmap across physician, nursing, and patient engagement categories.
• Coordinate a distributed network of accessibility champions embedded in product teams.
• Triage incoming accessibility issues from customers, audits, and legal; drive to resolution.
• Extend accessibility coverage to clinical content and PDFs; ensure alt text and captions are built in.
• Define metrics and reporting; raise the organization’s baseline accessibility capability.
