L.J. Gonzer in New York, NY seeks an Associate Project Manager III / Accessibility Specialist to support fire, life safety, accessibility, and building code compliance on a large-scale public infrastructure program. Office: 60% / Field: 40%; locations include Lower Manhattan, Midtown Manhattan, White Plains, Jamaica, NY.

Pay rate: $50-54/hr. Contract 12 months. Work hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The role ensures compliance with NYS Fire and Building Codes and the ADA across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, public administration or related field and 2 years’ experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent with six years' experience.

Responsibilities

• Review capital projects through all phases for compliance with NYS Fire/Building Codes and ADA.
• Review drawings for Master Plans, Scope of Work and design phases for regulatory compliance.
• Participate in design review meetings to ensure ADA integration in designs.
• Perform inspections for Fire, Code and ADA compliance during rehabilitation.
