Job description

Overview

These jobs focus on managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis.

These roles are responsible for managing patient entry points into the healthcare system, including scheduling, registration, and verifying insurance. Patient access staff ensure that patients can efficiently navigate administrative processes while maintaining data accuracy and enhancing the patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage financial aspects of patient care: billing, insurance claims, payment processing, financial counseling, utilization and revenue cycle analysis.
  • Manage patient entry points: scheduling, registration, insurance verification; ensure accurate data and enhance patient experience.
  • Represent people leaders, overseeing area of responsibility, achieving goals through direct and indirect reports.
  • Supervise support level employees, set goals and objectives, develop solutions to routine problems, and escalates complex issues to higher‑level managers; ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required; Associate’s Degree Preferred.
  • Experience: 3 years relevant experience.
  • Licensure: None required.
Physical Demands

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; repetitive motion: computer keyboard activity. Requires proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs.

Compensation

The starting base rate for this role is $48,462.00 annually. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
