Qualifications

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

  1. Coordinate patient admissions and transfers through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring compliance with protocols
  2. Collaborate with hospital departments and external facilities to facilitate efficient patient flow
  3. Perform admission screenings and utilize clinical criteria for patient acceptance
  4. Document and prioritize patient information for healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
  5. Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Care Record and provide feedback on patient transitions

What is Required (Qualifications):

  1. Graduate of an accredited school/college with current licensure as an LPN, Paramedic, or EMT in the state of residence
  2. Minimum of three years of related clinical experience in an acute care setting (ED or Critical Care preferred)
  3. Strong oral, written, and electronic communication skills
  4. Ability to multitask effectively, including typing at 38-40 words per minute
  5. Must meet specified internet speed requirements: Upload 50 or more; Download 100 or more
