Job summary

Stanford University’s Residential & Dining Enterprises seeks an experienced facilities security lead to oversee access control, video systems, and after-hours response. You will guide staff, manage budgets, and ensure policy compliance across buildings including residential and dining facilities.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s in engineering or related field and 2+ years in facilities operations management; Lenel/Genetec experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two or more years of experience managing facilities operations staff in diverse building types.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facilities operations and staff assignments; coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Resolve cross-functional problems and develop programs within assigned facilities.
• Manage area budgets including staffing, maintenance contracts, and related costs.
• Oversee service contracts and ensure alignment with department goals.
• Contribute to long-range planning and policy development for facilities operations.
• Ensure implementation of physical security measures (badges, cameras, locks).
