Job Description Summary
The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS (Novartis Patient Support) MS (Multiple Sclerosis) is a remote and field-based role covering Connecticut, Rhode Island, and most of NY. The candidate must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 60 miles from its border.
The ARM proactively provides in-person (or virtual as needed) education to designated accounts within their assigned regions on access and reimbursement topics, supporting product strategies. They serve as the key contact for access and reimbursement support, specializing in payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition, billing, coding, claims processing, and integration of support programs into account workflows. The ARM must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, analyze access and reimbursement issues, and communicate healthcare landscape changes proactively.
They will partner with other NPC field associates, including Customer Engagement and Market Access teams, representing NPC with integrity and aligning with company values. Cross-functional coordination within NPC (e.g., Patient Support Center, Marketing, Public Affairs) is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Support patient access in assigned accounts through face-to-face or virtual education on product-specific programs, integrating these into office workflows.
Address questions related to NPC policies on product ordering, payment, inventory, and returns.
Collaborate with office staff (providers, billing, coding, claims, revenue cycle) to support patient access.
Analyze and resolve reimbursement issues, identify trends, and support patient pull-through based on local, regional, and national data.
Support local coverage decisions to improve patient access, communicating policy changes proactively.
Implement and support NVS-sponsored patient programs (e.g., Co-pay assistance).
Maintain expertise in regional access landscapes, anticipating healthcare changes, and act as a reimbursement expert for their therapeutic area.
Coordinate with the Patient Support Center on case management, case tracking, issue resolution, and staff education, reviewing patient information as needed.
Share insights with cross-functional teams regarding access and reimbursement barriers and needs.
Ensure compliance with privacy laws (HIPAA) and handle PII appropriately.
Report adverse events via established systems.

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range at start is $138,600 - $257,400/year, subject to adjustments based on market and individual factors. The package may include bonuses, stock units, and benefits such as medical, 401(k), paid time off, and parental leave. Final compensation depends on experience, location, and other factors.
Additional Notes:
