Summary

The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS (Novartis Patient Support) Immunology is a field-based role covering Syracuse, Albany, Utica, Rochester, Buffalo, NY. Residency within the territory or within 60 miles of the border is required.

The ARM provides education on access and reimbursement topics to healthcare providers and staff, supports patient access, and partners with cross-functional teams within NPC to ensure optimal patient care and compliance.

Major Responsibilities
  • Support patient access through in-person or virtual education within assigned accounts.
  • Address questions related to NPC policies, billing, inventory, and reimbursement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and office staff to support access and reimbursement issues.
  • Analyze and resolve access and reimbursement problems, identify trends, and communicate changes.
  • Support local coverage decisions and patient support programs.
  • Maintain expertise in regional access landscape and healthcare policies.
  • Coordinate with the Patient Support Center for case management and issue resolution.
Buy and Bill Specific
  • Assess access situation and develop plans of action.
  • Educate stakeholders on logistics and workflows related to buy-and-bill processes.
  • Analyze reimbursement issues and act as a reimbursement expert.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in reimbursement, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy products, coding, billing, and complex accounts.
  • Knowledge of CMS policies, Medicare Parts B and D, and managed care sectors.
  • Ability to travel at least 50%, reside within the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to manage multiple products and projects.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of patient privacy laws.
Compensation & Benefits

Expected salary: $138,600 - $257,400/year, with potential bonuses and benefits. Details will be provided upon offer.
