Our client is a prominent international biopharmaceutical organization focused on developing transformative treatments for patients with serious medical conditions. They are currently seeking a specialized Access and Reimbursement Manager to oversee the Kentuckiana territory, which includes Louisville, Indianapolis, Nashville, and St. Louis.

This pivotal role involves acting as a field based expert to ensure healthcare providers and outpatient facilities can successfully navigate the reimbursement landscape. You will be responsible for educating medical staff on payer policies, billing procedures, and patient support services for a specific sleep disorder therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary expert on REMS program protocols and patient enrollment requirements within the territory.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with physicians, office managers, and administrative staff to ensure product accessibility.
• Work closely with internal departments including field sales, managed markets, and specialty pharmacy partners to align on business unit goals.
• Analyze regional data to identify market trends and develop actionable plans to improve patient access.
• Provide comprehensive education to office staff regarding prior authorization requirements, medical coding, and billing updates.
• Monitor and report on changes in coverage policies from commercial payers, Medicaid, and other strategic healthcare entities.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory guidelines while executing territory business plans.

Candidate Qualifications

• A Bachelor degree is required, while an MBA is considered a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry.
• Direct experience in account management or reimbursement within a provider office setting.
• Specific expertise working with HUB services, patient assistance programs, or REMS protocols.

• Ability to travel extensively, approximately 70 to 75 percent of the time, to cover the multi state region.

Financial and Benefits Information

• The estimated base salary range for this position is 148,000 to 222,000 dollars annually.
• Total compensation includes eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses and long term equity incentives.
