Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Full Time Access Point Monitoring in Mabelvale, AR. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a logistics and distribution location.

Responsibilities include assisting drivers and visitors, documenting logs, and responding calmly to incidents. A HS diploma and background check are required; a valid driver’s license for driving positions may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials and maintaining logs.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and perimeter access points; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.
