Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, FL seeks an ACCESS for Student-Parents Trainer to coordinate the program, provide ECE support, training, and services. The role acts as a liaison among the college, student-parents, childcare facilities, voucher sites, and community partners.

Based at HC's Ybor Campus Collaboration Studio, the trainer will help implement high-quality ECE practices, maintain participant records, and support families with academic advising, financial aid, and access to HC

• Bachelor's degree and two years of prior-related work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a primary point of contact for participating student-parents.
• Coordinate communication among Hillsborough College, the campus-based childcare facility, ACCESS voucher sites, and participating families.
• Provide training, coaching, technical assistance, and resources related to high-quality Early Childhood Education.
• Promote developmentally appropriate, evidence-based ECE practices across participating settings.
• Collaborate with QEES and community partners to support continuous quality improvement.
• Assist student-parents with navigating ACCESS services and available childcare resources.
• Connect student-parents with academic advising, financial aid, career services, basic-needs assistance, and other HC resources.
• Make referrals to appropriate community-based services when additional family support is needed.
• Maintain regular contact with participating student-parents to identify emerging barriers that could affect persistence or completion.
• Coordinate workshops, family engagement activities, educational programming, and other ACCESS events.
• Maintain accurate participant records and document services, referrals, training, and follow-up activities.
• Collect and report program information necessary for evaluation and performance monitoring.
• Participate in project meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the development of educational and career pathways for participating student-parents
