Sheppard Pratt in Towson, MD is seeking an Access Coordinator to serve as the first contact for admissions and referrals. This full-time role (M–F, 3:30pm–12am) includes rotating weekends and requires collecting psychiatric, demographic and insurance data to determine the appropriate level of care.
You will provide clinical triage, coordinate admissions when required, and refer to internal or external services.
This position is M-F 3:30pm-12am with rotating weekends. The Access Coordinator serves as the first point of contact to patients, their families/representatives, outside agencies, and referrers to respond to inquiries for admission or referral. Collects and evaluates psychiatric, demographic and insurance data and determines the appropriate level of care needed.
